So, this week marked the beginning of my career and I’ve already written this post but, because my two accounts decided to delete it, I’m going to have to start all over again.
Month: Sep 2018
London Surgical Symposium
So, despite forgetting, and being reminded a week before about this, I found myself on a ridiculously early (and expensive) train to London. I have an interest in surgery stemming from two weeks in a neurosurgery department. I also know AI will be becoming a huge part of my working life as it slowly takes over our world, so I was intrigued to find out more about it for the experts.
Two weeks, and a final goodbye….
Monday marked the two-week mark until I start Warwick. I am less nervous now as I was a couple of weeks back and now it is a weird mix of excitement and apprehension. The next two weeks will go as slow as possible even though I have managed to make myself busy every day including talking at one of my local schools about applying for medicine and what studying science is like at university.
Funding Medical School…..
Funding. In particular, Student Funding. It’s the hot topic every September and then people tend to forget about it until the student population protests and then it’s forgotten again. But we don’t need to talk politics.
